This luxury travel experience provides you with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that’s certain to leave you filled with awe and delight as only Machu Picchu can. Perched on a steep mountainside, it’s believed that Machu Picchu was constructed in the 15th century by the Incan civilization. There’s disagreement over its use; some believe it was a royal compound, while others believe it was a temple.
Sometimes called the last Incan city, Machu Picchu was only discovered in 1911 when explorer and historian Hiram Bingham uncovered the citadel, which had been largely reclaimed by the surrounding jungle foliage.
The Hiram Bingham Train tour bears the famous explorer’s name. It’s now renowned the world over for providing a delightfully luxurious travel experience to this iconic Peruvian wonder. Book your trip aboard the Hiram Bingham Train tour and discover Peru and Machu Picchu.
